I’m always a fan of Chinese contemporary poetry.

Developed from Chinese classical poetry, the use of poetic images is a significant method for Chinese contemporary poets during the process of poetry creation.It brings the poem unique beauty.

However, for non-native speakers, they may not understand the emotions carried by poetic images due the the lack of Chinese culture background. The misunderstanding of poetic images may cause a confusion and, further, lead to an incomplete aesthetic experience.

I wish for both native speakers and non-native speakers to appreciate the beauty of Chinese contemporary poetry.

Thus, this book is created, as an attempt of visualising Chinese contemporary poetry.
